Seriously. Is it Friday again? Sometimes the summer weeks just zip by too fast! This weekend we’re off to the Chesapeake Bay area for the wedding of one of my lifelong friends. We’re stopping over in Old Town Alexandria tonight simply because I love it there and want my husband to get a little taste of the area. I’m so excited for our little road trip! Welcome to the DC-area! I'm sure others have given you great suggestions but I'll just throw a few of my Old Town favorites out there - Rustico for lunch/dinner and delicious beer choices, ACKC for a piece of interesting chocolate or brownie sundae, Eamonn's for a quick pit stop for fish n' chips, and a stop at Pop's for an ice cream cone along with a stroll by the Torpedo Factory art center and harbor for interesting people watching.
