I really can’t get enough of these gorgeous packages wrapped so simply yet beautifully in kraft paper and twine with little springs of pine for a fresh pop of evergreen. Add in little bits of patterned washi tape and you essentially have the prettiest brown paper packages known to man. I basically adore everything that …

Good Monday morning, everyone! I thought I’d start off the week by sharing these fabulous DIY save the dates that Ashley of the chic line designed and created for her upcoming July wedding. She used her wedding color palette of black, white and apple green as inspiration and then mixed in kraft paper, striped baker’s …

I thought I’d leave you this week with a little inspiration for your weekend as you think about what little craft projects you might like to tackle. I adore baker’s twine – we incorporated it in many areas in our wedding – and I just love the pretty colors of striped twine offered by Divine …

Many years ago, I met a girl. She had this long brown hair and the cutest button nose and a fire in her soul that could light up the world. If you’ve spent any time with my family in the last couple of decades then you know her and how deeply important she is to me. She started as my sister’s best friend and quickly became my other little sister. Freakishly, when you look at photos of the three of us, most people actually assumes she’s our “real” sister. She is Aunt to my children, she is Sissy to me. She is my sister’s person and because of that I’ve been blessed to love her for all of these years. I couldn’t even say how many years it has been. There is no beginning nor end to our life with her fully entwined amongst the roots of our family tree. It simply feels like she has always been, like she was always meant to be.

I may or may not have mentioned before that breakfast is hands down, no contest, my favorite meal of the day! If it came down to it, I would gladly eat breakfast foods every meal every day for the rest of my life. No shame! I think that’s why I love these adorable breakfast to-go jars so much. They’re perfect for prepping at the beginning of the week to bring with you to work, sending along in a kid’s lunchbox or for offering overnight houseguests in the morning before they hit the road. You can spoon yogurt (I prefer plain Greek yogurt, but obviously any flavor will work) into the jars on Sunday and bag up all the granola at the same time. I used simple, inexpensive cello bags from the candy aisle Michaels and sealed them with a piece of washi tape. For the kids or guests, you can write cute little sayings on tags and tie them on with baker’s twine for an extra sweet touch. Add fruit, cute spoons and napkins from Sugar & Cloth, and you have hands down the easiest, yummiest breakfast for on the go or on the road!

I have a bit of reputation among family and friends as being the gift wrapper. You know, that person who gets a little crazy about making sure every package is perfectly, neatly wrapped and topped with just the right festooning of ribbons or twine. I completely understand why some people find wrapping gifts to be a …
