Friends, let’s chat about Mother’s Day! This will only be my third Mother’s Day as a mom, so I’m still fully in the mindset of thinking of the day as a celebration of my mother and now late grandmothers versus myself.

It’s almost a little crazy just how happy a big bunch of blooms in the center of the dining room table or tucked on the mantle can make me. Now that the snow is finally gone and the screen doors have been opened up, flowers around the house really drives home that spring vibe and they make me insanely happy. Every year after Christmas, my mom and I are so bummed to take down all of the decorations. So this year I decided that we needed some transition decorations that wouldn’t make us so sad to take down the tree at her house. My mom insisted on keeping up a few twinkly lights, and I got started on a surprisingly simple little magnolia leaf garland!
