An Inspired Home – Rooms I Love

Mar 1

In celebration of my husband and I closing on our first home later this afternoon, I thought I’d switch gears a bit today and share some of the photos I’ve been collecting as inspiration for our new house. I think my style can best be described as classic elegance meets New England beachhouse blended with a dash of modern-infused whimsy. (Yes, I just completely made that up.) I love soft watery shades of blue and gray, vintage furniture, historic architectural details and the occasional well-placed pop of color and pattern. Absolutely every room in our new house will be changed even if just in color, so I’ve been researching ideas for quite some time now. Here are some rooms I absolutely adore and that will provide the inspiration for our full-home transformation in the coming months.
