Inspired Creations – Breakfast Buffet Reception

Good morning, friends! I hope you had a great weekend. As promised, we’re going to get the week started by jumping right back into the reveal of the Inspired Creations Contest entries. I’ve been a big fan of Erin of Dandelion & Grey for a while now so it’s a sincere pleasure to share her entry. She worked with the incredibly talented Leila Brewster of Olive Juice Photography and Chris and Elizabeth Boyette of Dapper Paper to create a gorgeous breakfast buffet inspiration shoot I know you’ll love. I find all of the little details really magical and love the idea of a casual breakfast reception.

We started with a gorgeous vintage farmhouse dresser placed in a idyllic, expansive field. I wanted to come up with a unique way to house the delicious comfort food and decided on using antique kitchen tools and gadgets for the serving pieces.”

Lavender, peonies and cabbage mix with wildflowers to create a casual, summery vibe. Lovely hooks, nailed into a tree act as an escort card holder and a sweet framed print, leans against a tree telling guests, ‘We’re fixin’ to Eat, so grab your Seat!’ ”

We placed the favors in a shallow vintage wooden shelf along with found objects like ceramic red hearts, patina silverware and more kitchen gadgets. A sweet colorful apron sways in the breeze and overlooks our lovely, sun-drenched scene.”

outdoor-wedding-tree-ceremony-brunch-buffetI love Erin’s vision for a pretty, outdoor brunch reception with charming paper goods and sweet little details that make it special and memorable. This could also be incredible inspiration for a morning after brunch or even a rehearsal brunch in lieu of a rehearsal dinner if your schedule allowed. With great food, fresh flowers and a few unexpected touches you just can’t go wrong!

A huge thank you to Erin, Leila, Chris and Elizabeth for being a part of the Inspired Creations Contest!

Hi, Iove the breakfast buffet idea. Our daughter is getting married at 5:00. WE are trying to think out of the box. Do you think it would be okay to do a breakfast buffet then?
