It’s been a while since the last installment of The Weekly Dozen, so it seems rather appropriate today. Following Thanksgiving, this weekend was all about starting to get ready for Christmas! (Insert cartwheels, excessive holiday music and exuberant jingle bells here.) We made gingerbread ornaments, baked Christmas cookies, tackled a bit of shopping and watched National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. Yesterday we went on a little Christmas adventure, meeting up with B’s family at the Christmas tree farm to cut down our respective trees. All I can say is that two trees, a flurry of snowballs and a bunch of hot cocoa and cookies later and we were one happy gaggle. Plus, I’ve decided that a Christmas tree farm is essentially heaven earth – I’m convinced it gets no better!
