One of my goals in transitioning from chronicling my own wedding planning adventures to making The Sweetest Occasion a daily source of inspiration to those still planning, is to help brides and hosts of all parties large and small find great ideas for all occasions. To that end, I just had to share a few photos from this incredible baby shower, which I first saw posted by Melody of Sweet and Saucy Shop on Weddingbee PRO. Now, naturally, I love that so many thoughtful handmade details were incorporated into this baby shower, but I could also see this translating to a lovely backyard wedding, a bridal shower, a little girl’s tea party birthday celebration, or even an engagement party. The possibilities are endless really.
The shower was thrown in honor of parents to-be Gabriel and Carlie, the husband-wife photography team behind Gabriel Ryan Photography. Daddy to-be Gabriel even took all of the photos and Mommy to-be Carlie put her heart into crafting handmade invitations, owl-shaped fans for guests to keep cool, and other adorable details that made this party so special. All of the delectable looking sweets are from Sweet and Saucy Shop with flowers from JL Designs and design assistance from Jesi Haack Weddings. You can see many more photos with even more delightful details on the Gabriel Ryan Photography blog.

What a beautiful site, Cyd! Love it!
Can I ask if you know what the wooden sticks are in the drinks? Are they dowels? Can't tell -- super cute, though! :o)
