This colorful first birthday party was inspired by sunny spring picnics. Never mind that little Addie’s birthday falls in the cold of winter, mom Miranda spread blankets on the floor and served sandwiches, lemonade, cobbler in jars and chocolate cake. DIY party decorations crafted from colorful papers, paper doilies and cupcake liners gave the party a little handmade cheer and kept things budget-friendly. The fabric bunting adorned invitations might be my favorite part!

Thank you so much for sharing, Miranda!

Can you post instructions for folding the miniature paper flowers that are used on the paper goodie bags?
