Ready or not, it’s that time of year again! This Friday will mark the start of my holiday gift guide posts. What?! How did that happen so fast? This year I thought I’d do things just a tiny bit differently and ask you what you want to see. Usually I hit all the major categories like hostess gifts, gift ideas for men and kids, and great stocking stuffers. Maybe that works for you? Or maybe you want more specific ideas like gifts for teens or gifts for those impossible to shop for friends who have everything. So this is where you come in! Leave a comment below letting me know what you’d like to see from this year’s gift guide – I would love your input! Additionally, if you have a great shop and would like me to check it out for possible inclusion in the guide, feel free to leave a comment with a link and I’ll be sure to check it out. Buckle your seat belts, friends! The holidays are coming and we’re so going to be ready.
p.s. This DIY duct tape gift wrap is one of my most popular holiday DIYs! You can find the original tutorial here.

I love Christmas shopping! But wow has this year flown by. Looking for some great ideas for others and being able to build a list for me as well! Always lost when people ask me what I want!
I have the same problem, Jaimee! Putting together the gift guide always helps me drum up ideas for things I love, too. ;-)
Thanks for posting a gift guide as I enjoy your ideas and will look forward to what you choose! I would love to see a personalized gift option, like monogramed tech accessories or stationery.
I always love your gift guides! I’m a graphic designer who sells posters and prints, particularly geared towards designers and artists, if you’d like to take a look. Can’t wait to see the guide!
I always LOVE your ideas and I can’t wait to see! :)
I’m am artist and sell original paintings, fine art prints, greeting cards, and some hand-painted ornaments for the holidays. A lot of my work includes flowers because I think they represent pure beauty in nature.
Thank you so much for sharing, Jennifer! I will absolutely check out your shop! xoxo
I second the comment above re: thoughtful gifts for mothers-in-law and fathers-in-law, who already seem to have everything they might need or want. And for anyone: ideas for presents that are not “things” but experiences (cooking classes, theater tickets, etc.) would be useful. I like to buy them for my mom, but there are only so many plays to go to :)
Thanks, Can! I love experience gifts, too. Awesome idea!
I am a huge fan of AllieRuth! The calligraphy is beautiful and the quality is amazing! I try to buy made in the USA and the products are. Her prints and mugs are especially giftable!
Thanks, Brittanie! Thanks, Jennie! I will definitely check those out. I really appreciate the input! xoxo
I love that you’re starting the gift guide early! I love getting holiday shopping out of the way in November so I’m excited to see what brilliant ideas you share.
If you’d like to include sweet treats that can be packaged and shipped as gifts, my business Snickety Snacks could be a fun option – We specialize in hand decorated Sugar Cookies and Cake Bites(both which can be shipped!), and we’d be happy to work with any designs you have in mind to create a custom Sugar Cookie gift package your lovely followers could purchase for the holidays!
Thanks for the gift guides! It’s always nice getting ideas for gift giving. What about a gift guide for what to get your parents (as in adult children buying their parents gifts). I always struggle thinking of things for my parents and in-laws (who really don’t need anything) beyond gift cards to restaurants, the opera, theater, etc.
Amazing idea, Karen! I will definitely see if I can come up with something for that…I agree, my dad is impossible to shop for! :-) Thanks for the idea!
