Back in the day, I met my husband on a Finger Lakes wine tour. We bonded instantly over our love for fine wine, cooking, baking and spending time in the kitchen. And for our love of literature, dogs, and long walks on the beach, but I digress. At that moment, I pretty much knew he was the guy for me. For us, registering at Williams-Sonoma when we got engaged was a given. We loaded up our registry with our favorite stemware, bakeware and cutlery and I still get excited when I take out one my beloved Le Creuset dutch ovens or casseroles to cook up something tasty.
As vegetarians, we love a great bean cassoulet around our house. Right now I am loving this gorgeous Le Creuset cassoulet set. It’s perfect for family dinner or small dinner parties. Not to mention, cassoulet is the perfect meal for chilly fall and winter evenings.
I’m a huge fan of Williams-Sonoma’s wine club. You can join on your own or buy a membership as a gift. At The B-List conference this past spring, us bloggers were lucky enough to get a wine club trial, which was heaven. Our wine selection showed up meticulously packaged and the wines were all fantastic, placing it at the top of my list for great gift ideas.
For easy entertaining, I love Williams-Sonoma’s seasonal baked goods and sweets. These personalized owl sugar cookies, browniepops, cupcakes and petits fours are perfect for Halloween treats.
Our KitchenAid stand mixer is a mainstay in our house. We use it regularly and really want to add the ice cream maker attachment to our arsenal. Is there anything as good as homemade ice cream?
Of course, great stemware is key in a household of wine lovers. I like to be able to quickly grab for the correct glass when entertaining, regardless of our guest’s drink of choice so a lot of great glassware was essential when we registered for wedding gifts. We love Riedel’s stemmed and stemless wine glasses best.

I was already registered at Williams-Sonoma. http://www.williams-sonoma.com/registry/2440046/registry-list.html
It’s my fiance’s favorite store. I just added the Adjustable Burger Press, because we love to grill and sit outside for dinner.
I knew he was the one the first morning we moved in together. He leaves for work about 30 minutes before me. When I went to the kitchen, I saw a cute note, my coffee cup, freshly brewed coffee and a pastry set out for me to start my day. He is so thoughtful and loves to show how much he loves me.

I knew when he asked me to marry him and I said yes, with no hesitation :)

Awww, I love this post! When I knew my husband was the one is up for debate. In a way, it was our first kiss - it was that kind of kiss. But it was undeniable when we our relationship became long-distance, and we looked for any and all ways to reunite over the course of those months apart.
I already had a W-S registry (my fave place, of course I did!) - the public registry link is https://secure.williams-sonoma.com/registry/2609301/manage-registry-list.html. Today I added the Peugot dijon salt-grinder. It's already on my Christmas list (I have the big brother in red for pepper), but this can serve as an extra reminder to my no-longer-long-distance love that I really, really want it. :-) .-= Maggie [The Freckled Citizen]'s most recent blog post: This week in photos =-.

I forgot to include the registry link. Not sure if it's supposed to be in the same comment or separate:

I knew I met "the one" when he approached me at a potluck dinner and had me laughing all night. .-= Susan's most recent blog post: Whole Foods Market is turning 30 and they’re celebrating with a party =-.
