Vintage & Cake

I came across Vintage & Cake on twitter and thought this idea for a business was simply too marvelous not to share it with you. If you’re anything like me and you love all things vintage almost as much as you love cake and sweets, and you happen to live in the UK, today is your lucky day. Vintage & Cake is a lovely little business that specializes in creating lovely cake confections and they also rent out all kinds of vintage wares for hosting the most elegant of tea parties. I have had tea parties on the brain lately and this has inspired me to round up some more tea party inspiration. One of the best birthday parties I attended as a kid was an amazing tea party complete with a delicious teapot-shaped cake and elegant hats like real British ladies would wear. My friend’s mother was from the UK and put on a spread as she attempted to bring a little bit of her home to a gaggle of third grade girls. I think a tea party would be equally as fun for a bridal or baby shower or just for fun because you want to dress up pretty and act like ladies with your girlfriends.
