Blue and White

I love this classically pretty table with all of the sophisticated blue and white elements. For any of my longtime readers, you might recall my utter obsession with white flowers. (It never even crossed my mind to have anything but white flowers for our wedding, in the end a mix of roses, hydrangea and baby’s breath.) I love flowers in general and love the cheerfulness of bright arrangements, but romantic white blooms are the key to this girl’s heart. So maybe that’s why I’m drawn to this tablescape. Or maybe it’s the modern take on tradition with a big centerpiece of fluffy peonies surrounded by smaller arrangements of lily of the valley and delphinium. Either way, I’m in love.

Hey Juliar! I'd check out local thrift shops and vintage shops and Ikea if there is one local to you. You could also consider buying assorted clear glass containers and then painting them yourself. You can find glass vases really inexpensively at places like your local dollar store or online at Save on Crafts. (Check out DIY instructions here: http://www.elizabethannedesigns.com/living/2008/12/16/diy-make-your-own-milk-glass/) Hope this helps!

Amy, I loooove blue and white. And peonies. And any flowers that are fluffy and white. I can't wait for spring!
