The ladies behind Sunday Suppers pretty much seem to be a bottomless well of creativity and, to be honest, they’re pretty much my idols. Ohhh to create such pretty food and flowers and crafty projects and take such amazing photographs. Now that is talent, folks. But I digress. One of the things I love most about the events they pull together are how approachable and easy so many of the ideas are. Think index cards, mini clothespins, typewriter font, purple ribbon and purple twine. It doesn’t get a whole lot simpler than that. At a recent event, guests were given a jar of kumquat marmalade and a stack of recipe cards wrapped up in twine as favors upon departing. Simple, easy and memorable. That’s where it’s at.
