Inspired Tablescape – Part III

I’ve got a few more photos from the incredibly talented Megan Dailor from our photoshoot to share and later today I’ll be sharing a full source list so you can easily recreate the look for yourself. It’s a fresh and pretty look that’s perfect for a wedding, but equally appropriate for a birthday party, a Mother’s Day brunch, or a bridal shower.

First up, I have to introduce you to Jeremy. Jeremy is Megan’s furry little nephew who just so happened to be hanging around as we worked (because Megan’s sister allowed us to crash her beautiful dining room for the shoot) so I decided to get in him on the action with a cute color-coordinated bow around his neck so he could pose for a few photos. He’s a complete doll and I loved having him with us. Further proof that dogs will steal the spotlight any chance they get.

I made the doily chair swag using five of the smallest paper doilies strung on inexpensive white thread and grosgrain ribbon to tie it to the back of the chair. I love how it added a pretty and festive detail to the chair really simply and inexpensively.

For table linens, I actually grabbed the curtains that were hanging up in my bedroom. I have long floor-to-ceiling length drapes in a soft aqua taffeta that worked perfectly with the color scheme I was going for and looked gorgeous when paired with the patterning of the doilies. As an alternate to the kraft bakery box favors, I filled mason jars with miniature chocolate chip cookies using the same favor tag on the lid and tied with grosgrain ribbon.

Jeremy is soooo ridiculously cute! He fits right in with his little bow... love it, and at the cookie jar is making me hungry :)

@juel - Isn't Jeremy great? He is so sweet! And I love doggies with people names.

@Lisa - Thanks! The doily table runner and chair swag are my favorite details, too. Love how affordable it is, too!

@Melanie - Thank you! I loved how that turned out and am so glad you like it. Wouldn't it be pretty for a little girl's birthday party, too?

I love the doilies over the chair. So simple and sweet.

All of the doily touches are so pretty! I love how you spread them across the table, and the chair swag idea is so clever and cute! I also really like how you used so much bright white - very pretty.
