DIY Tea Card

I loved these DIY tea-painted cards using tea as watercolors that Ez posted over at Creature Comforts a while back. You can download the cute tea cup illustration and then paint them using various kinds of tea for a pretty aged effect or pull out your favorite set of colored pencils to get the job done. I love the idea of giving one of these lovely cards to a friend with a little tin of your favorite tea just to say hello and that you’re thinking of them or to brighten their day in the midst of a particularly hard week. Wouldn’t they also be perfect invitations to a lady-like tea party? Print and color the tea cup illustration on a nice paper stock, then flip the card over and pen an invitation using your best handwriting and a pretty pen on the reverse.

These are so cute and sweet. Adorable. I want to print them off and put them around my tea containers just because!
