The B-List

Good morning, everyone! I’m back after a whirlwind trip to DC and beautiful Old Town Alexandria this weekend for The B-List conference and have so much to share. I’m sure all of us bloggers will be buzzing about our fun-filled weekend throughout the week, but I wanted to take a quick second to share a little sneak peek at the festivities and to thank the amazing people who made everything possible. First and foremost, a huge thank you to Anne and Vané for organizing everything and to the team at Ritzy Bee Events for pulling out all the stops to make us feel welcome in your hometown.

Here’s a group shot of all the bloggers during the festivities. Bloggers traveled from all over the country to get together for the weekend. I had so much fun catching up with old friends, meeting new friends and getting to share great ideas with a group of women for whom I have the utmost respect and adoration. (Thanks for a great time, ladies!)

Lunch on Saturday was an amazing boxed lunch provided by Design Cuisine. Sandwiches wrapped up in wax paper, embroidered cloth napkins, B-shaped sugar cookies and old fashioned root beer were tucked inside pretty blue boxs (“something blue”) courtesy of Smock.

Each B-Lister was the recipient of an awesome gift bag loaded with goodies from some incredibly generous sponsors! A big thank you to Chronicle Books, Smock, David Tutera, Paloma’s Nest, Rust Designs, Emersonmade, Wedgwood, Santa Barbara Preserves, Whisker Works, Footpetals, iomoi, Viv & Ingrid, Williams Sonoma, 9Spot Monk, Crane & Co., Delphine, Bridal Reflections, Sycamore Street Press, Flory Photo, Chewing the Cud, Envelopments, Scout Books, Pottery Barn, The Pink Initiative, Lo Boheme, Rembrandt, Simple Song Design and Thoughtful Day for all of the goodies! Lots of details to come as I finish sifting through all of the amazing things we were gifted. It feels like Christmas!

More B-List details to come, but in the meantime check out Imma B-Lister, the rap written especially for The B-List by Fresh Hubby, husband of Dana of The Broke-Ass Bride. He surprised us by posting this video over the weekend and we all got to watch it hanging out together – complete hysteria ensued. Enjoy!
