I’m in love with the beautiful romantic details in today’s Inspired Creations Contest submission. It’s soft, feminine and timeless, a combination I find simply irresistible. Designed by Kristen of Kio Kreations and Kara Schultz, it incorporates some of my favorite design elements – gorgeous florals, an abundance of vintage milk glass, and pretty DIY touches. Wait until you see these gorgeous flowers!
Kara and Kristen designed the shoot with the thought of “looking to the past and the present” in mind. They thrifted cake stands, vases, picture frames and other wares to create a stunning escort card display and tablescape design. The color palette of soft pinks, ivory and champagne is impossibly romantic.
Gorgeous linens and textiles are mixed and matched to create a feeling of rich texture that really adds to the design. Escort cards are cut with decorative scissors to mimic lace and flowers are made of vintage doilies to adorn the bouquet. Favors are cookies wrapped in pretty paper and tied with ribbon sitting atop each place setting.
The gorgeous centerpieces are made with peonies, astilbe, ranunculus, spray roses, snapdragons, hydrangea, lisianthus, and garden roses, with foliage of lamb’s ear, variegated pittosporum, and dusty miller. They are fluffy and romantic and I’m completely obsessed with them.
