Over the weekend while catching up on my favorite blogs, I stumbled upon (and fell in love with) the photography of Alexandra Grablewski after seeing her work on Twig & Thistle. In addition to the incredible photography, I love these inspiring little details. When entertaining, why not stack donuts on a pretty plate or serve up lobster rolls in paper holders? Slice strawberries for fresh lemonade, scoop dessert into little footed dishes, drizzle homemade jam over fresh scones, and set out pastel-colored striped straws with drinks. I know I’ve shared before that my favorite entertaining tip is to keep it simple and then add in a few pretty details to make your party or celebration shine. This is a perfect example of making that work in a really easy, but memorable way.

These are gorgeous details...and very inspiring!! Love the simplicity of the first two - lemons and strawberry slices make such a difference. And the mini bundt cake with the star cookie on top...so cute!
