Toasted Marshmallow Milkshakes

It’s confession time, friends. While my obsession with sweets is well documented around these parts, I’ve suffered a lifelong aversion to marshmallows. I just can’t get on board with marshmallows despite several attempts. There is one notable exception, however. Marshmallows toasted over an open fire while camping? Now those I can do. Same thing goes for s’mores. But, please, do not come near me with “raw” marshmallows, marshmallows in a candy bar, marshmallows in cereal, marshmallow cereal treats…I just can’t do them. So, I’m not entirely sure how I feel about these toasted marshmallow milkshakes from Joy the Baker, but I think I feel pretty good. Roasted marshmallows and my favorite food in the world, ice cream? I’m willing to give this a try.

Yummy! I'm with you on raw marshmallows, Cyd. Can't stand them. But gooey roasted ones? MMMMM. I recently bought a jar of Marshmallow Fluff to put in hot cocoa -- it's like the gooey inside of a roasted marshmallow, without all the building a fire and getting bug bites in the woods part. .-= Erika at Delphine's most recent blog post: intern post- autumn favorites =-.
