Hello hello and happy Monday, friends! I know the Monday after a long holiday weekend is never especially fun so I thought I’d start the week with some truly lovely winter wedding inspiration to get us all in the spirit of the holiday season. Think lots of sparkle, hot cocoa, a pine cone cake topper, a roaring fire and pretty rustic details reminscient of holidays in New England. Sent over by Henry & Masci Photography, this is just the thing to chase away the post-Thanksgiving Monday blues.
Katherine from Henry & Masci Photography shares, “We set up this inspiration shoot to show how beautiful winter is and how easily you can create some great DIY projects around a winter theme – living in New England, we had to take advantage of the beautiful snow. The bow wreath was a DIY project made from satin ribbons tied simply around a wire frame. The candle holders were made with sticks that were covered in glitter and glued to a clear container. The napkins were tied with ornaments found at Crate & Barrel. Simple ribbon tied on the mugs added some interested and matched the wreath. When it came to the food we stayed with a mostly white palette and included donuts, frosted cupcakes and of course marshmallows.” Isn’t this just sweet? Thanks for sharing, Katherine!
