Good morning, friends! I hope everyone had a lovely holiday weekend. You may have noticed that things look a little different around here and I’m really excited this morning to introduce an all new look for The Sweetest Occasion! Huge thanks are owed to Ami Price of Edit & Post (and Elizabeth Anne Designs fame) for bringing the new site to life and to Carolynn Giordano of Two Brunettes for shining her talent and inspiration on taking the site design to the next level. Plus, a shout out is due to Leila Brewster for lending her photographic talents to the site, too. There are a lot of new features to check out, so subscribers should be sure to pop over and pay a visit!
Newly organized archives and quick links for real weddings and real parties bring the newest inspiration to your fingertips, and I’m particularly excited about The Sweet Pages, a go-to resource for wedding ideas and party planning showcasing the the best in stylish, modern event design inspiration. (It’s like the yellow pages. Only better.) Check out free party and wedding printables, a selection of fine stationery inspiration, DIY ideas and projects, and (coming soon!) The Sweet Shops, a vendor guide featuring the best independent artisans offering a diverse array of party wares and wedding goods. Plus, the Upstate Vendor Guide and the Sweet Inspiration blog roll have gotten a facelift, too. (We’ve been really really busy.)
Take a look around and spend a little time over your extended holiday break digging in and falling in love with loads of great ideas for your next celebration.
