I’m loving today! Not only did the new site debut, but I also have the chance to share a really fun inspiration shoot shared by a group of local Syracuse, New York wedding vendors. It’s not every day I get to showcase local talent so when photographer Mabyn Ludke sent over this edgy shoot infused with cool, handcrafted newspaper details I knew I had to share it with you. Plus, it’s just plain awesome and a testament to how a little ingenuity (newspaper = basically free) can have a big impact on your celebration without necessarily having to cost you a ton of cash. Win. Win.
Isn’t this completely fun? I love how a few details like newspaper, hot pink and a cool quilt can have such a vibrant visual effect. Many thanks for sharing, Mabyn! xoxo

I love how this couple made the wedding their own. I love how they incorporated the newspaper into the flower arrangement as well as into the table settings and other decorations. Way to recycle!

Very nice inspiration! A little dab of paint or watercolor on those newspaper flowers would surely make a difference too!
(And I love how the bride is wearing Chuck Taylors with her gown!)
