Holiday Entertaining Idea: A Cheese Platter

I am loving this idea for simple and easy holiday entertaining – a super delicious cheese platter! I have a special love for cheese plates in restaurants so in my world this is sure to be a crowd favorite. Lay out parchment paper on a large cheese or cutting board, set out lumps of your favorite cheeses and tasty nibbles, and label everything with a marker and your best penmanship. (My mom recently canned up pickled green tomatoes that we’re loving around the house right now and would be perfect for this!) The ever-fabulous Joy the Baker has loads of suggestions for pairing your cheeses and sides. For me I’d definitely need a good brie, aged cheddar and some delicious goat cheese. Set out stacks of pretty plates and some crusty bread and you’ve got a spread fit for feasting.

Such a great idea - I love cheese platters and living in France, we get some pretty good cheeses!
