Here in the Northeast, apple picking is one of the ultimate fall pastimes. While apple season is dwindling now in early October, I still can’t get enough of the fresh apple cider and apple cider donuts you find everywhere this time of year. On a crisp fall morning there’s nothing I love more than heading out for a few hours wandering the orchards, stowing the perfect apples for snacking and making pies in a big tote bag. The perfect outfit for such outings? Why, a cozy sweater, a pair of soft boyfriend jeans and boots, of course.
