Now that the holidays are fading into distant memory, it really feels like winter around here. As in, yes, I really wish spring were going to be here soon. But I’m a realistic kind of girl and I know we’ve got at least three more months of cold chills and winter doldrums here in upstate New York. So I am doing what any reasonable girl does under the circumstances by lusting after gorgeous velvet blazers and cozy oversized scarves. It’s only fair, right? I love this outfit for those casual winter outings like lunch with the girls, running errands or grabbing coffee with a pal. Oh, and those star earrings? They’re so going to be mine.
