I am a huge fan of holidays. Essentially every holiday ever created. And, honestly, I’m a firm believer we should create some new ones just for the sake of having more excuses to throw great parties and get a little festive. I got thinking about how fun a Halloween wedding could be, even if you’re not into the ghosts and goblins version of the season. So, I went on the hunt for some great ideas for incorporating touches of Halloween décor into your event, minus the black cats and witch’s brew. I love this collection of fabulous and chic pumpkin decorating ideas. Who knew Halloween could be so sophisticated?

It may only be Monday morning, but I’m now completely inspired to round up some pumpkins and spend some time carving up something pretty this weekend. I love the idea of using carved pumpkins for table numbers or carving out tiny pumpkins to use as candle holders. I think they could also be great as escort cards painted with guests names and a table number on the backside and they’d look completely adorable all lined up on a table. Stacks of painted or gilded pumpkins would make great centerpieces and it would also be really festive but somewhat unexpected to use an assortment of colorful squashes and gourds.
Get creative and have fun! Using seasonal decor can be both really unexpected and completely beautiful.
