Event Inspiration – Dreamy Photography by Shana Rae

The photography of Shana Rae is so soft and ethereal, I knew I had to share them with you as soon as I stumbled upon her work. These photographs are seriously like something out of a dream. I think they would be the perfect inspiration for planning your wedding or celebration. They’re serene and pretty, pastel but still sophisticated. More than once I’ve found myself completely in awe over her work.

Wondering how to use a photo you love as a launching point for pulling together thoughtful and coordinated event details? Try using a color palette generator like Big Huge Labs. You can upload your photo and it will give you a chart of hues contained within the photo that you can use to pull together your palette.  I love the colors in the yellow ranunculus photograph above.

These last two are just because I find them beautiful. My friends and family will tell you, I am, without exaggeration, the least baby crazy newlywed you’ll ever meet, but there’s something about a perfectly innocent and adorable toddler that gets me every time. I do believe we should all start taking naps with balloons, don’t you?

If you’re a photographer, Shana Rae’s Flora Bella Collection textures and Photoshop actions are available to help you give your photographs the same dream-like appeal. Thanks, Shana Rae, for allowing me the opportunity to share your amazing work!
