In the event you aren’t yet familiar with inspired Brooklyn confectioner Whimsy & Spice, I thought I’d take a moment this Monday to perk you up with a bit of their sweet goodness. Whimsy & Spice is the work of husband and wife team Mark and Jenna. Mark is the baker and Jenna is the art director, photographer and author of their thoroughly insightful and touching blog, Sweet Fine Day. Together they’ve built a brand that to me is pure magic. Who doesn’t love the opportunity to slow down and enjoy a cup of tea and a delicious little treat? If you ask me, that’s what life is all about.
I’ve been drooling over these pumpkin ginger sandwich cookies for months. I need to hurry up and order some before fall passes me by.
With completely unique flavor combinations like honey lavender shortbread and black pepper and rose thumbprint cookies, these treats are just as beautiful as they are original. I think they’d make fabulous holiday gifts, a great hostess gift, or even a great addition to a bridesmaid gift. (I have a killer sweet tooth so I’d be thrilled if one of my friends gifted me sweets for being in her wedding!) They offer great gift boxes, perfect for the holidays and beyond.
Oh, and these earl grey sandwich cookies have also been on my list for far too long now. (I see a rather large Whimsy & Spice order in my very near future.)
Hi. They even make homemade marshmallows in flavors like cardamom and maple. How perfect would these be with a cup of homemade French-style hot chocolate? I think I just found the perfect stocking stuffers for my friends and family this holiday season.

I am totally with you on needing to go on and order some of those pumpkin ginger sandwich deliciousnesses. I wish I didn't have to pay so much shipping, but I have a feeling it will be worth it... .-= kathleen's most recent blog post: home improvement =-.
