Graph Paper Party Inspiration

Good morning, everyone! I hope you had a lovely weekend. Over the weekend I stumbled upon this pretty little party and just had to share – the architect in me is so in love with the idea of plotting out party decor on graph paper with colored pencils that I find this absolutely irresistible. KK made this awesome sketch while planning her daughter’s birthday celebration and then her husband helped her hang big pink and white honeycomb tissue balls according to her specifications. Isn’t it adorable? I love seeing how her vision transformed into reality for a bright and cheerful first birthday party.

Such a fun event decor! I love sketching out my ideas on graph paper - in fact, my sketches for some of our wedding centerpieces look just like her sketches! .-= Brit's most recent blog post: a weekend kind of love =-.

When I got married I sketched the layout of where my lanterns should have gone with the size specs as well and faxed it to my mom! I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who sketches things like this out. I think planning stuff like this helps things run smoothly!
