Today I am excited to share the next amazing Inspired Creations Contest entry from the talented team of Royal Events by Melissa, Truly Yours, Sweetest Candy Buffets and Angel Canary Photography. They were inspired by summer in the Hamptons and nostalgic childhood memories of oceanfront dinner and a youthful love for saltwater taffy. All of the details were designed with the DIY bride in mind, easily recreated and easy on the budget. I love all of the thoughtful, elegant elements they pulled together, a look that is both timeless and modern.
The design centers on a gorgeous sweetheart table with a sweet candy buffet acting as centerpiece. Pretty glass vessels are filled with rock candy, salt water taffy, Jordan almonds, and chocolate candies. The table is draped in rich blue and apple green linens with gorgeous satin chair sashes. Favor crackers were made from tissue paper rolls covered in wax paper and tied with ribbons, designed to resemble individually wrapped salt water taffy candies. Floral and fruit garlands purchased at Hobby Lobby run the length of the table with individual flower buds from Flower Factory tucked inside napkin rings wrapped in ribbon.
A custom family crest adorns all of the paper and stationery from the menus to the place cards, table name signs, and personalized wine label. I love how the paper pieces look alongside the preppy green and blue color palette.
Can you believe those amazing flower garlands were purchased at Hobby Lobby for only $20 each? They’re incredibly lush and so pretty, a great budget-friendly alternative to fresh flowers, especially for DIY brides. Thanks so much to the team at Royal Events by Melissa, Truly Yours, Sweetest Candy Buffets and Angel Canary Photography for this beautiful entry!

Very thoughtfully coordinated. The blue and green are very refreshing and the individual labels for the treats are quite unique. Excellent job!
