A Fall Adirondacks Wedding

As this post goes live this morning, I am packing up my car and headed up to the Adirondacks for an extended weekend. I can’t wait to spend the next several days relaxing and rejuvenating! In celebration of my mountain trek, it seemed only fitting to share Alyssa and Kevin’s gorgeous Lake Placid wedding captured by my good friends at Clark + Walker Studio. Alyssa and Kevin wanted a celebration rich in fall colors that reflected the spirit of fall in the Adirondacks and they certainly delivered. For those of you loving fall right now, you’re going to love this one…

Alyssa is one of the prettiest brides I’ve ever seen.  I love the look of her lace dress with matching bolero paired with a big bouquet of red roses, leaves and berries.

Alyssa’s dad was known for his homemade garlic popcorn, so to honor her dad they had a popcorn bar at the reception with three flavors of popcorn from Adirondack Popcorn. Traditional popcorn boxes allowed guests to serve themselves throughout the evening and even take some with them for a midnight snack.

Just beautiful, right? Makes me wish I had planned a fall wedding. Congratulations, Alyssa and Kevin!
