Celebrating Grandparents

Good morning, friends! I hope everyone had a great weekend. Posting is going to be light today as my family will be paying our final respects to my grandfather later this morning. That said, I couldn’t get resist taking a moment to recognize the special and inspiring role grandparents play in our lives. Due to my parents remarrying, I’m incredibly lucky to have had six wonderful people fill this part of my life. Sadly, over the past few years I’ve had to say good bye to a few of them and it touches me every time that grandparents are so completely irreplaceable in our lives. Maybe that’s why I love seeing how Chelsea of Frolic and her family celebrate her grandmother’s birthday every year – she just turned 102! Check out how they celebrated 98, 99, 100, and 101, too. And make sure to give your grandparents a big hug.

Many thanks for all of your well wishes and condolences here and on Twitter. See you back here tomorrow when we’ll get back to partying like rockstars! xoxo
