Happy Friday, friends! I hope everyone is gearing up for a great weekend. Personally, I’ve had one of the best weeks I’ve had in a long long time. And you know what? It feels totally and completely awesome to share that. Oh! And in a bit of news, I wanted to let you know that in edition to The New Home Ec, you can now find me at Family Style over at Babble. Writing for Babble has been such an amazing opportunity and I’m so excited to be working among some of my favorite bloggers. I’m cutting out a little early today to finish up a couple of projects and pack for a much needed girl’s weekend out of town with one of my long-time BFFs. We’re headed to the Poconos! That IS a great quote! I just wish it hadn't been by McCandless, since we know he camped out in the Alaskan wild as an "adventurer" and eventually died out there - despite there being very clear maps of where he was and how to get out of there!!! It's good to be adventurous, but it's important to have common sense and to recognize limitations along the way.... Have a great time in the Poconos!!
