Um, has anyone noticed how poorly I’m doing at my own self-imposed photography challenge lately? Yeah, yeah. I know. Not that I haven’t been taking loads of photos, that much I have covered. But taking the time to edit and post them apparently has proven an entirely separate challenge. Ah well. Today I’m here to share a handful of photos from our recent camping trip a couple weekends ago. We had such an amazing time! The gist of the trip included about a dozen boats making the voyage out to Grindstone Island, 40 or more people, huge bonfires, lots of sunshine, swimming and fishing, cooking breakfast on the dock each morning, playing horseshoes and generally just soaking up summer for all it’s worth. We weren’t home for twenty four hours before we were all chattering and scheming for next year. I’m already ready to go again!
Truthfully by mid-day on the second day of our trip, the camera got stowed away and didn’t come out again. Sometimes you’re just having too much fun to worry about documenting it! That said, I shared more photos on Instagram while we were playing the days away. Pop on over and search the hashtag #canoept2013 for more!
