Have I ever told you that late spring is my favorite season? As a good ol’ northern girl I’d be lying if I said I didn’t love all seasons, because I truly do. There’s something about the change of the seasons that I just love. But late spring is my jam. When the trees are finally fully in bloom and the grass is thick and green (before late summer comes and torches it into brown oblivion), and the flowers are all starting to bloom one after another – that’s when I find myself in heaven. Right now when I look out onto our backyard that is precisely what I see. Thick, dense greenery. Trees spilling over with branches heavy with leaves. Irises and lilies popping up all over. I find it so invigorating! Um, so, probably you get what inspired today’s color palette, right? Here’s to a fabulous Monday!
