After our big move back in March, we were full steam ahead in fixing up and decorating our new abode. Then April came and we got busy. May came along and we got even busier with travel, work and family obligations. Long story short? I don’t remember the last time I picked up a paintbrush or unpacked a box. This month I’m committing to making huge progress in making our little old house feel like a home so you can be sure I’ve been plotting more than a handful of DIY projects. These three DIY ideas below in particular have really caught my eye recently. They’re all simple, relatively inexpensive projects that you could easily pull off in a weekend, which is perfectly my speed these days. While I hope to make some progress in that department in the next few days, here’s wishing you a beautiful weekend! Oh, and be sure to scroll down for your weekly Friday Link Love, too!

Hi Tina! That image is showing a DIY tutorial for the headboard, not for the blanket. However, now that you say it, I love the idea of creating a DIY tutorial for something similar so let me see if that's something I can work out!
