Friday Link Love

Feb 5

I’ve had such a fabulous week that I really can’t wait for a fun, relaxing weekend. My bestest buddy closed on his first house yesterday (a gorgeous old farmhouse with high ceilings, original woodwork and lots of fireplaces) so I’m traveling over to see him and the new place tomorrow. We’re going to eat pizza, drink champagne and strip wallpaper and I could not be more excited! My husband and I also finally got the commitment letter from the bank for our mortgage so we’re officially moving closer and closer to being home owners ourselves. Tonight we’re going to go out to eat and then veg out on the couch and watch a couple of movies. With that said, I’ve got to thank everyone for an awesome week. I had a lot of new visitors and new friends sending emails and leaving comments. I really love interacting with all of you so thanks for stopping by every week!

Hands down, the most gorgeous Valentines imaginable.

Mmm, pie. How cute!

Joy’s top 10 cookie recipes. I want to try them all.

An absolutely beautiful garden wedding.

Donuts so cute I couldn’t stand to eat them.

A darling love note for the one that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

When we move, we’re looking into becoming foster parents for the local Golden Retriever rescue.

Happy weekend!

  1. Oh, what a great opportunity to become foster parents! I’d love to do that, but Wade’s not sure yet.

I’m just starting to return to my normal self … my mood is improving, which is largely due to being employed, but the amount of daylight increasing helps. My motivation is slowly returning, although right now I’m so busy with work that I don’t have time to do what I’d like! In the meantime, we should start thinking about getting together. We can visit you, or you can visit us. Maybe in April? I know that’s a ways out, but my February is FULL and most of my March, too. Not all with social events, some of it is career related.

When you have a moment, drop me a line!
