This morning I am off to Salt Lake City by way of Chicago (where I’ll be catching up with Ami of Elizabeth Anne Designs for the rest of the flight west) for this year’s Altitude Design Summit. I am, in a word, crazy excited. I can’t wait to meet so many blogger friends I have yet to meet in “real life” and just know I’ll be starstruck by all the talented bloggers under one roof.
Enough about me. You have to check out this super cool DIY video save the date that Chris and Grae made in preparation for their May wedding. It’s short and sweet, but entirely unique and full of fun personality. Here’s how the story goes (according to Chris) – “We are both really into birds and live along the Jersey shore. I’m a Jersey native and Grae is a transplant from Virginia. We met in high school, but didn’t start dating until I was in college in Baltimore and she was in college in New Brunswick, New Jersey (what great timing we have). We have lived at the shore since 2007 and the photo-video is taken at our favorite bird-watching spot. Created using a series of photos from an afternoon shoot, sequenced, and set to show for .2 seconds each. Set to the band Guster’s cover of a much beloved Beatles song, it fits us well.”
A huge thank you, Chris and Grae, for allowing me to share your video and congratulations on your upcoming wedding!
