DIY Paper Poppies

I really love a good paper flower. Today, Sarah from Daisies & Pearls is sharing a fabulous DIY tutorial for making paper poppies. The one thing I love more than paper flowers in general? Paper poppies in specific. Poppies are one of the prettiest and happiest flowers going in my book. These are sweet and simple, perfect for a wedding with DIY flair or for parties of all shapes and sizes. Thanks so much for sharing, Sarah!

Materials: Crepe paper, artificial flower stamens, floral wire and tape.

Step 1: Cut five tear drop petals from the crepe paper.

Step 2: Overlap the petals around the stamens, which should be folded in half.

Step 3: Secure floral wire to the flower head with floral tape.

Step 4: Carefully stretch the crepe paper to add shape to the poppy.

Step 5: Continue this process until your heart is content and arrange as desired.
