Backyard Picnic Inspiration

Earlier this summer I visited California and promised to show off the photo shoot that I teamed up on with the lovely Erika of Delphine, photographer extraordinaire Jennifer Dery and Adrianne of Adrianne Smith Floral Design. We envisioned it as a casual backyard engagement party with a picnic menu, great cocktails and a laid back vibe. It’d also be perfect for your upcoming Labor Day gatherings! The best part of this shoot is that after creating the menu, prepping and setting up, we actually enjoyed an incredible evening with friends complete with s’mores after dinner. Working with a preppy color palette of crisp white and blues, Delphine’s Chevron wedding invitations and corresponding party goods took center stage while fresh white and yellow flowers kept everything soft and pretty. Finally, we borrowed a bunch of gorgeous linens and tablewares from the ladies at Bixby & Ball to really bring the look together.
