I was so excited to have Jenni Bailey share the perfect little party she planned for her daughter Brynn Luna’s first birthday. For the invitations, Jenni stuffed small muslin bags with confetti cut from sheets of crepe paper (ordered from D. Blumchen) and she hung ruffled streamers over a pretty ombre painting she painted herself. She baked the cake and whipped up a batch of her family’s favorite vanilla bean ice cream, served with Brynn’s favorite treat, Nilla Wafers. The super cute cake topper was made by Michelle Edgemont and Brynn’s party dress was sewn by her grandmother using a pattern from a Leila & Ben. I love the sweet simplicity of Brynn’s first birthday party. A little confetti goes a long way!

So sweet. Love the soft colors and of course the little cutie pie amidst all the confetti. Precious. Love the idea of encorporating a painting you already have into the decorations. Smart.
