I discovered new-to-me blog The Merrythought a couple of months ago and since then have been loving literally everything that Caitlin, Manda and Marla share. Which neatly sums up why I’m thrilled to be sharing their recent end of summer s’mores party with you. It’s the perfect celebration of the end of summer, a bittersweet farewell to long sunny days and nights spent crowded around a bonfire. They invited a big band of friends and family to join them for the ultimate s’mores-centric celebration. We’re talking every kind of chocolate you could ever possibly want, bowls overflowing with marshmallows and even a teepee for the littlest guests to enjoy. (Come on! A teepee! Love.) Oh, and sparklers. Don’t forget the sparklers!
Isn’t this the perfect bit of summer heaven? I really think so. For more, pop on over to The Merrythought and be sure to get lost in all of the gorgeous images.

I love the chocolate selection displayed here. When we do s’mores it’s Hershey’s chocolate only, but next I’d like to try Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, instead. They look so delicious. Also thanks for the pic of chocolate chip cookies instead of graham crackers. Great tips, I can’t wait to try this with my kids!
I agree, Florence! All the fun chocolate options is such a great idea. :-)
Fantastic!! I love everything about this. The idea, the photography… I want my own. :)
Hahahah, agreed, Kelli!
Looks like a blast, how fun!
This entire post looks perfectly amazing. I need a s’mores party in my life. STAT!
Agreed, Sara and Rachel! I am so in love with this party, I kind of want to host one myself this weekend if I can manage to pull it off ;-)
So cute! I recently went to a s’mores party and was jealous I hadn’t thought of it myself. Yum.
I’m starting to mourn the end of summer too, and this looks so cozy! Love those blankets across the chairs — perfect way to welcome fall.
