Color Palette: Mimosa + Buttercream

Happy Monday, everyone! It’s the first Monday of spring, so I’m pretty sure that calls for the brightest, happiest spring-inspired color palette that one ever did see. I think this one fits the bill. I posted this image of these tulips, which was a part of this DIY centerpiece post, on Instagram yesterday, and I don’t know if it’s the rich sunshine yellow or what, but it has definitely been a hit. So from there I decided it had to be the inspiration for today’s color palette! Now, if only it would warm up just a smidge and actually feel like spring! We’re still dealing below average temperatures and occasional sub-zero wind chills (right now it “feels like” -3° according to my weather app) so needless to say, I’m glad I’m jetting off to Charleston this week for a few days. In the meantime, all the yellow and all the tulips will have to see me through. Here’s wishing you a great week full of lots of sunshine in your world!

Love the yellow tulips, I just bought some for our apartment this weekend. Charleston is awesome, I am super jealous :) Hopefully it will be warmed up by the time you get back.

I hope so, too - thanks, Hannah! Charleston is one of my favorites. I'm usually there at least once a year for business and I always fall in love all over again. ;-)
