I love a good carved pumpkin as much as the next Halloween-loving kid, but this year I wanted to try my hand at something a little different. I’ve been so in love with painted pumpkins the last few years that I knew paint was going to win the paint-vs-carve debate for me this year. But contrary to my obsession with colorful neon pumpkins, I decided to go a little dark and spooky. Much like Chelsea’s chic DIY Halloween centerpiece and Maddy’s all black and white Halloween tabletop, I was all about the modern, graphic and slightly edgy look this year.
This pumpkin is about as easy as operating a can of spray paint, so if you can handle that you can rock out your very own black and white pumpkin in no time. (Ok, ok, probably about two hours if you count time for drying between coats of paint.) Head over to Babble where I’ve detailed all the steps – it’d make a great little project this weekend!
